Why is Hayden’s guide so successful in teaching people how to earn gold in Warcraft?
Think about how people usually go after gold in Warcraft. Think about how you may be going after it? Even if you watch videos in Youtube, you’re going to see that the average player is grinding, farming and in general, selling their items to the vendors.
What Hayden is not teaching you is how to be mindlessly grinding or farming. Her guide isn’t about using your professions to boost your profits or doing the dailies. Yes, you can make gold doing all of these things but those are things you should be doing for fun, not just to put gold in your bags.
What Hayden’s guide is about is how to profit at the Auction House.
What is it that most people do at the Auction House? Buy and sell fast. Put the item up for the lowest profitable price and sell quick. That is NOT how to use the Auction House.
In fact one of the complaints that I see in the forums have to do with undercutting at the AH. You can avoid these AH frustrations and actually make killer profits on the items you will be buying and selling while other players are scratching their heads with no clue as to why selling low never gets them anywhere but broke.
Well when I started searching for a good gold guide, I was amazed at how many reviews I found. Unfortunately, a lot of them just seemed like sales pitches and I wanted to know the truth about the guides before I decided on one. I didn’t want to waste my money on something that wasn’t really going to help me. And I for sure didn’t want to buy a guide only to find out later that the “tips” it talked about were illegal and could get my account banned by Blizzard.
It honestly took me a while to get through all 232 pages of the guide and I was a bit overwhelmed at first with how much information it was giving me. But there are some specific things I really liked about it:
- It works for any level player. There are strategies for level 1 all the way through lvl80
- It includes a lot of DIFFERENT ways to make gold, not just grinding mobs all day
- It doesn’t focus on the hard ways to make gold, like finding rare spawns
(that half the other people on your server are also looking for) - It works for Horde and Alliance
- The maps and walkthroughs are super easy to follow
I can whole-heartedly recommend this guide if you would like to start making more gold in WoW. And be honest, who doesn’t need more gold?
